The paper that Nick is referring to was posted, word for word, on this
list. I also have a copy of it if you have trouble getting it from archive
files. But Poulin's interest in Stadler is secondary. Her main interest
(and for which she has done miraculous work) is in Stadler's basset
clarinet.

It was she who went to Lithuania (Vilnius, I believe), found a program
describing a concert by Stadler, and located a drawing of Stadler's
basset clarinet. She then planned to write an article on this matter
for the Clarinet magazine but I do not know if she has done that.

This discussion (about the shape of Stadler's basset clarinet) also
appeared on this list and should be redeemable from the archiveal
files. But, except for a record of his travels to play concerts
throughout Europe, there is little of Poulin's work that deals with
Stadler the person.
