Somebody give Gary a phone number in London of one of the
big music stores. Years ago the biggest was on Oxford Street
(HMV), but I don't know about now.

It sounds silly but modern communication being what it is
I find a phone call does it all. Get the number even
through international directory assistance and call to
get the availability and price. You then have the choice
of giving them your VISA or Master Card number or sending
them an international bank draft (which here in California
would cost me about 25 bucks above the actual value of the
purchase -- ridiculous).

Several years ago I read a great review of a new Quebec
French dictionary. So I called Quebec information, asked
the operator to give me the number of any bookstore in Montreal,
called and asked if they'd ship it to me and gave them my MS number.
It arrived within two weeks.

For London, just make sure that you call during their
open hours. . 8-)

And you might get a lot more besides -- like some literature,
maybe even a catalog or two.

Oliver
