I am looking for a definitive publication describing alternate fingerings for
clarinet. Most of the "fingering charts" sold in music stores describe only
very limited alternatives and are difficult to interpret without constant
reference to a numbered/lettered picture of a clarinet with reference numbers
on the keys. The picture is often at the beginning of the book, and I find
this a frustration. Please let me know where such a publication is currently
available. My former teacher, Leon Russianoff was a master at alternative
fingerings, but I didn't have the foresight to encourage him to publish this
before he died a few years ago.
