Hello to all!

I am new to this list, but do have a burning question and need objective advice.

As a school band director I have made emergency repairs using synthetic pads
and corks made by Valentino. The replacements have worked so well I repadded
the clarinet I use at school using the same stuff. That was 5 years ago
and they
have served me quite well.

What experiences have you had with this line of products? What do you like
about them?
What do you dislike about them? Why?
