Greetings!

I have put an interim update of the Clarinet FAQ online at
http://www.lookup.com/Homepages/47146/home.html
or
http://205.226.64.152/Homepages/47146/home.html

I have been chopping very large pages into smaller parts in order to
improve browsing performance. I've also had time to make a few additions
to the FAQ's content.

I would like to point out that the perennial question "How do I unsubscribe?"
is answered on the first page.

Besides the drastic internal reorganization, here is a list of changes in
this edition:

Mouthpiece makers
one addition

Has anyone heard of some old company that used to make clarinets?
additional information about The New Langwill Index

Discography
six additions

Web Pages
one addition

Catalogs, Services, and the Retail Trade

Because the FAQ is a set of web pages it is full of html tags and is
nearly unreadable as plain text. If you do not have WWW access but
do have a web browser (e.g. Netscape, Mosaic) and ask very politely
I could archive the files, compress them, uuencode them, and email
them to you. (Please do not ask me to do this.)

As always, please send me your comments and suggestions.

Thanks,
