As a public service to the KLARINET community, I offer the following:

The first thing each new subscriber to the list receives is the "You are
now subscribed to KLARINET" message. It contains full and clear
instructions on how to unsubscribe, and begins with the words "Please save
this message for future reference, especially if you are not
familiar with LISTSERV. This might look like a waste of disk space now, but in
6 months you will be glad you saved this information when you realize that you
cannot remember what are the lists you are subscribed to, or what is the
command to leave the list to avoid filling up your mailbox while you are on
vacations."

If there is anyone else out there who has not saved this message and does
not know how to unsubscribe, even if you don't think you will ever leave
the list, please email me _privately_ (don't send any more messages about
this to the list) and I will forward a copy of it to you.
