Last father's day, I was at acomplete loss as to what to get my
father. Then, it hit me. He always asks me to play for him, but I am
always to shy, and I play all sorts of solo pieces in my lessons, but
never actually have a chance to perform them. He has always enjoyed a
little music history lesson here and there, also. I went to the
computer and created a program of music that I would play for him at any
time. It was really cute. I called it the Father's Day concert at the
Polsky Auditorium, and then listed the pieces of music I would play with
a brief history about each. I have to say that it was probably more
appreciated than the tie I gave him the year before. Hope this helps
