This list mentioned the recent publication of the following
excellent book of which I have purchased a copy:
Cambridge Companion to the Clarinet edited by Colin Lawson

In the bibliography the following book is mentioned:

BIRSAK, Kurt: Die Klarinette - eine Kulturgeschichte.
Buchloe, 1992, translated G. Schamberger, 1994.

I know of the 1992 German edition. Can anyone enlighten me as to
the translation from 1994? Is it into English? Who is the
publisher? Does it have an ISBN? I have been unable to find it in
british or American Books in Print, on the British Library
catalogue or on the OCLC Libraries' catalogue.
