I'm posting this on the list because I made a mistake: I do use the Lester
Progressing Clarinetist, but I use it a bit later than the beginners. For
them I ment to say that I use:

Melodious Studies for Clarinet
Leon Lester
Pub. Henri Elkan, New York.

The Progressing Clarinetist is published by Carl Fischer. It is a logical
next step after the Melodious Studies: The etudes are longer and
progressively more advanced. Both of these books tend to go in and out of
print, so if you find them listed, GRAB them both. I apologize for my error.
