That is the question. I have been given vastly conflicting information
from various clarinettists on how often I should grease the joints on
my clarinet, ranging from almost never to every time I assemble/
disassemble it.

The confusing bit is that all the people I have asked so far have all
been playing for many years as opposed to my few months. They
can't all be right (or can they?).

My clarinet is a B flat Yamaha student's model if that is relevant.
And how can several different people who all seem to be
successful musicians have such different ideas on what I would
have assumed was a fairly simple topic?
