Steve,

I have always thought the Signet 100 to be just as you say, a beginning
model clarinet made of wood. I personally find the Buffet E11 to be my
first choice, Nobet a close 2nd and The Signet 100 on the bottom of my
list. I like the E-11 because it has the same key mechanisim as a R13
and plays like a Buffet. I feel the intonation on the Buffet and Noblet
is even better then the Signet. I have been teaching for 16 years and
have played them all and have had students on all. The Signet 100 isn't
bad, is probably cheaper then the above models but not the best overall
value, in my humble opinion.

Thanks for opinion.
