hi-just catching up on old mail....

It seems to me that Sabine's sibling actually goes by the name of Wolfgang.
I do know of a Paul Meyer who has an enjoyable recording of Frech
works(Poulenc, Debussy, St-Saens) Great stuff!

I found the SAbine/brother Mendelssohn recording in the bargain
recording section of a small bookstore in Burlington, VT. Digging around
always turns up exciting stuff. Unfortunately, I didnt want to spend the
money right then and "sniff-sniff" someone else got it before i could
return...

In addition to the Mendellsohn, check out Sabine's Weber Concertos
recording
I think her playing conveys the operatic nature of the works remarkably.
