Cathleen,

Look at the skins of your pads. Do you see the skin separting from the
pads? Are many pads turning a dark color by where they meet the tone
hole? If you have more than a few pads going I would have them all
changed. All of the pads that have been talked about on this listserve
are good. I have my upper joint corked, it cost me $10.00 more. The
corks wear like Iron and seal great.

By your letter I am assuming you are from the Lansing Area. Go to
Meridian Winds and they will give you a loaner to play while it is being
done. Ask for Eric, tell him I sent you.
