Just a side note to the Gortex pad question:

In observing Sabine, Wolfgang Meyer, as well as Reiner's horns last March in
Germany, the wurlitzers they are playing have this gortez pad- Very well
liked and seems to outlast most oher pads. I had a festival clarinet that
had the Gotex pads- it was very nice!--
