As to cork pads on the upper joint, Tim Clark has placed cork pads on my
entire upper joint, and I feel the seal is much tighter. They also last
MUCH LONGER, especially on the side trill keys, where I tend to get water
the most. In addition, I believe that the practice of using cork pads on
the upper joint was a practice started by Moennig.

In short Henrik, don't knock it until you try it :-)

Happy New Year everybody!
