Someone of the klezmer persuasion said once that his career survival was
entirely based on d minor (d minor concert, that is). If you are gonna be a
klezmer guy you gotta play in d minor. That's it; that's all you need to
know. (Well, make sure it is d harmonic minor. THAT'S all you need to know.)
