Dan Leeson's wonderful commentary on Reginald Kell causes me to recall my
first hearing of Kell's fascinating and musically sophisticated performance
of the Debussy Rhapsodie...Kell was truly an independent musical mind, and
one of our most under-appreciated performers.

It's interesting to note that responses to Dan's comments on Kell have all
been positive. Perhaps things have come full circle, and now Kell is finally
becoming more widely appreciated for his musical sophistication.
