Nat Clark, the woodwind repair guy at Boosey-Hawkes, told me it was an R-26
based on my description. They have no cases for older instruments. He told
me that Washington Music bought out all their old stock, including some of
these. Washington Music either sold them out, or can't figure out that they
have them. Being somewhat of a purist, if I can't find an original Buffet
case, I'd prefer to get a nice custom case rather than a competing brand's.

(After 10 seconds of reflection, I've decided that being a purist doesn't
mean much. My usual equipment is a pair of Concertos, Buffet Moenig Barrel,
and the mouthpiece of the week, from a collection of about 60!)

Thank you

Dave Lane
