This is to Marshall Mentz and the rest of the list:

After hearing all the great things that were advertised about the M13
mouthpiece I made up my mind to give it a try. In Phoenix, Arizona last
summer at the Clarinet Convention Vandoren had a booth in the exhibiter's
hall. I do own a buffet R-13, but to my surprise, their mouthpiece didn't
play like it was advertised. I wouldn't say that any mouthpiece is perfect
for any horn, because we all know of course that it depends greatly on the
player's style and preference. But for myself, I didn't care too much for
it. Personally, I would not buy it, but there may be some people out there
who might; everyone plays different.
