Hi yourself :-) One piece I'm working on myself is "Excursions",
Variations on a theme of Paganini (yes, that one :-) by Keith Ramon Cole,
pub. Emerson . I haven't quite convinced myself it's a great piece yet but
I think it's good. It certainly has some worthwhile challenges- range up to
high A,lots of different characters etc. The blurb inside the cover says:

Stylistically his [Coles'] music hs a certain free-ranging chromatic
tonality [I wonder if he gets that from eating free-range chicken?], but
with bitter or ironic melodic inflections. [Free-range chicken with lemon
sauce... ;-) ]
