Cathleen wrote asking about the Mendelsohn concerti for clarinet
& basset horn.
Correctly there are 2 of them called Konzertstueck (Concert
Piece) and they were originally written for the 2 instruments
with piano.
There is a recording of these on the Clarinet Classics label but
I cannot remember the label.
I think that there is also a recording on Hyperion with Thea King
and Georgina Dobree.
