I don't care what the horn looks like per se, and my Buffets always
developed that "lived in" look pretty quickly. But I have a Yamaha A
which I bought in 1985, and it still looks like new with no particular
extra attention on my part to the keys. Maybe because of the silver plating?

How it sounds is most important.
