while we're determining the age of clarinets, I have a Buffet A #115181
dating from 1971 (purchase date) and a Buffet Bb #144xxx from 1974. I
don't think of *them* as old - and although I just bought my first pair
of glasses, I don't think of myself as *old* yet - but a lot of older
people are looking younger all the time!
