Dear Friends,

I've been reading with interest the various "useless dribble" and "how to
remain anonymous on the Internet" posts. FYI, there are still some of us out
there who pay full tab for services like AOL, use a 2400 baud modem, and
still stay within our base 5 hours per month which for me covers KLARINET and
other e-mail plus a few tips from antique rose grower's news groups. (Yes, I
know I need a faster modem and a full-service provider.)

Some years ago (and I wish I'd gotten the message many years earlier) after I
had given my opinion on everyone else's report at our weekly staff meeting, a
long-time professional mentor and friend -- and my boss -- told me, "Don, if
you can't improve the silence, please keep your mouth shut."

Thanks for your understanding.

Don Gross
