I play with the Columbus Symphony and have the same parking problem
that any musician has. It would be great to have artist parking or some
other "quick" fix but alas the orchestra does not own any parking lots and
I've never heard that being part of bargaining. We're lucky to get free
parking. I've subbed with Pittsburgh and everyone there is on his/her own
for parking. Since the hall is downtown that means $7-11 a day for
parking.
I'm in the middle of the Nutcracker and the Columbus hall is
adjacent to the downtown city center mall. With the show and Christmas
shopping it's insane just parking your car let alone getting out after 2
shows. We're packed up by the time we stand and bow. Musicians have lifes
too!

Dan
Not the Nutcracker again, PLEEEEEESE!!!
