I guess you received the date (1936) already. You might like to know that in
The Clarinet for spring 1955 there is a request for anybody who has Selmer
L3682 to loan it back to Benny Goodman (who offers a 500dollar Selmer Omega
in exchange for a 3 week loan!). It seems that this is the instrument
Goodman used for many of his old recordings, and then traded it but coulnd't
remember where. So maybe yours is in a good series.
