With all due respect, Dan, I think you have a lot of nerve to tell 460
people what sort of things they should or should not say to each other.
Some of us enjoy the comedians and jokers on this list, and if they
occasionally get carried away then there are many ways to filter out their
frivolities.

I subscribe to another list where some people complained about frivolous
messages- the "List Pope"'s solution was that such messages should have a
smiley :-) in the subject line, so that anyone who doesn't have time for
humour can just trash them. Perhaps we could adopt such a policy here-
though I personally don't think it's necessary... :-)
