I have seen some discussion of retail (and mail order) sources for
clarinets on the list and in the archives (I am now up to mid-June
95). However, all that I recall have been in the East. Are there
places with good prices and selection in California or Arizona? (I'll
be in Phoenix next week.)

The only place I am aware of is Anahiem Band Instruments. They have a
(somewhat underdeveloped) Web page at http://abimusic.com/abimusic/.
