I studied with Jim Campbell in Toronto (a few years before he moved to
IU)- he is the bee's knees. Yea verily he is the wasp's nipples- in fact
he may be the entire set of erogenous zones of every major flying
insect in the Western Hemisphere. [Okay, so I read too much Douglas
Adams.] He's a great clarinetist and a great teacher.

My favorite clarinetist. I bought a new Selmer recital because that is what
the CD case said he played. How's *that* for idolatry? [the damn thing was
expensive!!]. It's a great clarient (I put it on a par with my R-13) but
it's going to be a while before I sound like Jim Campbell. I think its
great that you studied with him. I hope I don't sound *too* star-struck. He
is an incredible player.
