I'm definately no music history scholar, but I played clarinet in a
version of the Messiah with my church. It wasn't a bad arrangement... I
didn't even know it wasn't the original until I went to a symphony
performance of it and there weren't any clarinets in it. Like I said,
I'm no music historian, but I enjoyed the part.
