Gentlemen;
I happened to pick up these messages late but it seems you are
looking for chamber music possibilities. We have in Chapel Hill, North
Carolina on the campus of UNC a week long chamber music workshop in early
June. It is aimed at adult musicians and encourages all levels with the
exception of beginners. We have about 50 participants from around the
country. The musicians include strings, piano, and woodwinds and french
horn, of course. We have performances and all sessions are coached. We
run four sessions each day with ample opportunity for reading and social
gathering. This will be our fifth year and we are growing rapidly. The
faculty comes from Israel, Belgium, Holland, England, and the US, so it is
international, as well. Most participants stay very near the music
buildings - five minute walk - and the entire music department is turned
over to the workshop for the week. The ages of participants range from
mid 20's to the 80's.
Interested? Contact me and I will gladly send you brochures,
etc. Yours,
Donald L. Oehler
