Steve --
I, too, am using MidiScan. I would be interested in hearing about
what you come up with.
My most recent project has been a transposition of the Martinu "Four
Madrigals" (trio for oboe, c-clarinet and bassoon). (Anybody have a
c-clarinet for sale?) I am using Midiscan to get the scores into my
computer so that I can manipulate them. Presently, I am using
Personal Composer to do the transposing and formating for printing.
The biggest problem that I have found so far with this is that
Midiscan looses the articulations and phrasing.
Note that I am not using any of this software as midi playback.
