To all who wrote with information about the Francaix clarinet concerto:

THANK YOU.

A compilation of the information I gathered from the Klarinet was used in
the program notes for the Israeli premiere of this work. The performance was
given by a young Israeli clarinettist on Thursday November 30 as part of a
concert by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. The soloist was Chen Halevi. He
was born in Arad Israel, is 23 years old and plays the hell out of the
clarinet. It was a first class performance. He actually got ALL the notes as
well as playing musically. Quite an achievement.

For anyone interested, Jean Francaix is still alive and well in France. Chen
told me that he worked with Francaix on the concerto this year in Paris.
