Hi, Daniel,

Here's a response to your swab question: how about a blend of BOTH?
I've been using Coppenbarger swabs from International Musical Suppliers
for over a year now, and they are by far the best I've ever used! They
are large, slide through the horn easily without getting stuck (have you
ever gotten a swab jammed up in the upper joint right before you have to
play something?) and quite absorbent. To the best of my knowledge, they
are silk/cotton blend (and come in a lovely assortment of colors!) I
have several Buffet cotton swabs (some are brand new, in the package) but
I won't use them any more now that I've found these!
