Dan has given us some very specific instructions on performance practice for
classical era music. I have been ignorant of these conventions (and most
likely
of many other conventions of that era). My question is, how do find this
stuff out? Is it strictly an oral tradition? Are there sources from Mozart's
era which give specific examples? Has anyone written a book which covers
all of these practices? Can you give us a bibliography Dan?

Adam
