Fellow Klarinetters -

I'm preparing the Danzi Sonata for Clarinet and Piano for a recital in a
few weeks, and have a lingering question mark in the back of my mind
about the tempo of the final movement. I've been preparing the movement
at quarter note = 144, but my very experienced accompanist suggested
somewhere in the neighborhood of quarter note = 120, because of the
Allegretto marking. Both sound nice, but have distinctly different
characters. I was wondering if I might solicit some past opinions or
experiences with this piece. Thanks.
