I did a search of the archives and only found one reference to this
Canadian Clarinetist. It was in a list of recordings of the Copland
Concerto for Clarinet. This is the recording I have, and while it was
made in 1986, I only obtained it recently. (Northern Sinfonia of England,
Academy Sound and Vision, Ltd; CD DCA 568.)

It also includes the Gerald Finzi Concerto for Clarinet and a short work
I like the most, and think MacDonald does a wonderful job on, The Pied
Piper by Walter Mourant.

Does anyone know anything more about MacDonald? Searches of the "computer"
at the local Tower record and of music listings on the Internet have not
turned up anything.
