Subj: Best music shops in New York

I will be spending three days in New York next week. Never having
been there before, I wonder if anyone can give me pointers to the best
shops for sheet music, instruments and accessories (preferably ones
that are easily reached by public transport). Also, if anyone can
tell me what concerts (if any) will be on between 28-30 November I'd
be most grateful.
