Without disagreeing with the good advice of Dan Leeson
I would say that I found Jay's posting about Dorn to be to the
point and prudent. He related a personal experience and
gave details sufficient to protect himself from all but
perhaps the most vindictive of merchants.

As a matter of record, Jay's posting stated
"I WOULD (my caps) recommend purchases from . . ."
Dorn would have a difficult time pursuing the matter, faced
with an opening line like that, even though most of us
saw it as an obvious typo. If backed to the wall, Jay
could break into song with, "I'm just a cockeyed optimist. . ."
