In several recent postings, some heavy duty criticism was placed on
the mail order house, Dorn. I have no experience with them and am
unable to comment one way or the other.

But, and without knowing diddly squat about libel laws, I would be
very cautions about posting allegations of unethical behavior on a
public network. It leaves a hard copy trail. It allows an allegation
that one might be acting to defame another individual, and when that
individual runs a business, I suppose it is possible to suggest loss
of income based on such allegations.

I don't suggest that one should not criticize on this (or any) list,
but I think that it is tempting fate to be so bold. An alternative
might be to say, "If anyone wishes to know of the personal negative
experiences I have had with mail order house XXX, please contact me
directly and privately."
