Recently several clarinetists enquired about Yamaha German System clarinets:

I contacted Linda Jones, Marketing Coordinator for Yamaha Corp. of
America, and received a catalogue listing all of Yamaha's current clarinet
line. The catalogue number is W-136 and lists not only Boehm clarinets, but
German Boehm and Oehler models. No price list for these horns, but I was
told they are available from a Yamaha dealer on special order (no, you can't
play a dozen of them!). Linda's address is:

Ask for the catalogue listing the German line of clarinets. I have played
both the Oehler and the German Boehm clarinets and were quite impressed. My
current clarinets are Yamaha YCL-72CS's, but I do lean towards the German
sound (German-American?).
