whose address I got from the Internet Directory. The message was
returned, indicating no listing for vccswest. So, I'm attempting to
forward the message through the network, with apologies in advance to
others, whose message list is probably long enough without having to read
this one.

Subject: Absence of Klarinet Message Traffic

Dear Mr. (Dr.?) Fay,

As a long-term subscriber and contributor to Klarinet, I was
puzzled by the absence of postings from the list for nearly a week. I know
that, in the past, there have been occasions when the network has been
down, which has taught me to be patient.

However, tonight I saw Don Gross at a Caltech Wind Ensemble
rehearsal, and he said that he has been receiving messages without
interruption. Have I been accidentally unsubscribed from the list? Or is
there another explanation for the cutoff?

Please advise as to how I might correct the situation.
