I am an orchestra director in the Roswell, New Mexico Independent School
District. I am completing a Ph.D. in fine arts at Texas Tech University in
Lubbock, Texas. As a preliminary study for my dissertation, I would
appreciate your completing a questionnaire concerning the personalities of
music students.

My dissertation topic is "Orchestra Player Satisfaction and its Relations to
Myers-Briggs Personality Type." Please note that this is a straw poll and not
a scientific one. I will not use anything you say in my dissertation without
your permission. If you would be willing to participate in a survey, please
