The last I heard was the the waiting list is about five years. They also make
Boehm instruments to special order. Some of the players in the major Dutch
orchestras are reputed to use Wurlitzer Boehm clarinets.
If you really want to play German system clarinets and don't want to wait
that long or pay a _lot_ of money for your instruments (Wurlitzers are very
expensive compared to Boehm clarinets) you might want to try the Yamaha
German system instruments which are supposed to be very good and much cheaper.
You _can_ buy used Wurlitzers in Germany, but they are are hard to find;
anything that comes up for sale finds a buyer right away.
