I hate to continue the discussion about the Vito/Yamaha discussion but I
have some interesting points to add. I just spoke to my repairman and he
has observed two things:

1. The Yamaha YAC23 keywork is interchangable with the student model Vito.
2. According to the repairmen at his shop they consider the Yamaha Bass
Clarinet to be the same as the Vito.

This store is the largest Buffet dealer in Michigan, sells the Vito line
to schools and repairs the Yamaha band instruments made in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. I think there are definitedly some swapping or is it copying
going on.

BTW I lost the address to the frequently asked questions page of the
listserve. The page concerning recordings and equipment questions.
Could someone please send me the URL. Thanks in advance. I have learned
much from the various interchanges on this listserve.
