Friends,

Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to the successful
beginning of OCR--The Online Clarinet Resource (on the World
Wide Web at http://www.iquest.net/~sgeidel/)

I've learned that many of you have your own web pages at the
colleges and universities where you teach. I would like to offer
the following internet service to you:

I am offering an online directory of clarinet teachers at
colleges and universities as part of the Online Clarinet
Resource. Your name and school can appear
in the Directory if you have either (1) a web page, which some
of you have, or (2) an email address (which ALL of you have!).

If you would like to appear in the Directory, please send me the
following via email:

-- Your name and title
-- The name of your university/college
-- Your contact information-- a web page
address and/or your email address
-- A very brief information statement describing degree offerings
and performance opportunities.

Your name, school, and contact information would then appear in the
Online Clarinet Resource "Directory of Universities and Colleges."
Readers of the Online Clarinet Resource could then see your listing
and contact you by simply clicking on your web address or email address.

Here's a sample entry:

John Jones, Professor of Clarinet
North Southeast State University, Westerly, Indiana
Offerings: BM, MM, and DMA in Clarinet Performance
Perf. opportunities: 2 orchestras, three
bands, Wind Ensemble, and The Graduate Wind Quintet.

To the above, I would then add...

Prospective students students, colleagues, etc could then
contact you by simply clicking on your name.

Please note that a web site is NOT necessary for participation...
I can include either your email contact info, your web site, or both.
