For those of you living in the SF Bay area, I would like to announce a
special concert and master class. Dr. David Ehrke, of the University of
Nevada at Reno, will present a clarinet recital on Friday, Nov. 10, at 8:00
p.m., in the Concert Hall at San Jose State University. Along with pianists
Dr. Laurel Brettell and Craig Bohmler of SJSU, he will perform Babin's
Hillandale Waltzes, the Bozza Concerto and the Brahms Sonata in Eb. All are
extraordinarily gifted players and recitalists. Admission is free and
parking is available in the garage at the corner of Seventh and San Carlos
streets in San Jose.

Dr. Ehrke will also present a master class the following morning, Saturday,
Nov. 11, from 10:00-1:00, also in the Concert Hall. Performances will
feature several South and East Bay clarinetists. Admission is $10.00 for the
general public and $5.00 for South Bay Clarinet Society members.
