Dear Don;
The old RC clarinets used to have an F in front of the serial #,
I believe, and the new ones are always with silver keys. It is only the
R13 that does not have silver keys, unless ones asks for the silver. If
you do not have silver keys thenit is an R13 for sure. Try playing them
along with a horn you are sure is an R13. Good question, never really
thought about it. Good luck.
