Dear Dr Dokler,
I have been through a lot of mouthpieces, but have always come back to the
Morgan mouthpieces I have. I have four RM-15's and find them excellent (I
just use one and have the others for when it wears out or breaks). I use
V-12 #3 reeds with these and they generally match without too much fussing.
I also use the Alexander #3 reeds, esp for chamber music, as they don't seem
to project as much in an orchestra. I find them rather similar to Glotin
Gaia #3, but better as the latter tend choke up in the clarion register for
me lately fot some reason.
I have spoken with Mr Morgan on the phone a number of times and have always
been impressed with his knowledge, generosity and integrity.
I am an amateur player-I have a "day job" as a neurologist.

Sincerely,

Everett Austin
