Has anyone ever played the WW quartet? I read it the other day and was
surprised that he wrote low Ebs. Was this originally written for A
clarinet? It was suggested in rehearsal that Villa-Lobos wrote much his
music for a group of musicians that had "non-standard" insruments. Has
anyone ever heard of this before? Is there more Villa-Lobos music that
goes down to low Eb? Has anyone ever played the WW quartet? Did you
play it on A clarinet? Has anyone ever bothered writing out the part?
